オクランドム　ビジュアルズ (OHKRANDOM VISUALS)

A bunch of upcoming illustrations… most of them are still in WIP but I’ll show the preview. Ok. Here it goes!

石川　雀 (Ishikawa Suzume). This is a remake and not yet finished. The first version is a CHAOS… This orig chara has something to do with my not so happy past. I mentioned her in one of my previous posts.

Yesterday I was on UP DILIMAN. My sole purpose there is to submit my entry for a FAN ART CONTEST in an event called AME MATSURI. The event will be on December 9, 2006. I passed my entries (2) just in time.

The day before yesterday, while I’m working with my entry, I just felt pain in my body… I can’t even do my work because of the pain. Worst, I haven’t reached 75% on the illustration. I decided to sleep… then the next day (the deadline), the strange pain is gone. I was thinking way back then… it’s very wrong timing for that strange pain to appear when I’m trying to finish my illustration. I think “something” is trying to stop me from finishing my work… Is it a mere coincidence? But thank goodness, I was able to finish my entry and submitted it on time. My 2 entries is from a game and an anime, the
first one is a crossover, very cute. Here’s the preview:

Now all I can do is to pray and hoping to win the contest…

On the other hand, My friend just told me that she played MegaMari. It’s a 東方 series doujin game, ROCKMAN style. I also know that game, but haven’t played it. Well… something just popped in my mind, “What if MegaMari has an X series just like Rockman? What it’ll looked like?” I woke up from my sleep, it was around 4am. I went to my computer room, did some sketches, looking at a familiar reference and poof! Here’s the output:

Marisa Kirisame and Alice Margatroid in a familiar pose. Can you guess on what their poses came from? Familiar, isn’t?

[CLUE] I played it years ago. I prefer playing the Japanese version because the English version sucks. It messed up the VOICEOVERS, giving the one with a effeminate voice and the other one with a voice that doesn’t fit the character’s personality!

After this, I’ll work on it’s “enemy select screen“. I know who’s to place on the boxes only 2 are not yet filled…

• Random Colorings
• Comic Strips (KOF and 東方.)

What to do next? I’ll just pick what I want to work…

Hehehe. I got an urge to color this one. It’s my commission work I assigned to Saowee. Since I got the lineart version (along with the first full color version she made in 300 dpi). I decided to color it for fun and for a different look. Still working in progress as you can see it. Oh, by the way, do you see something familiar about the illustration? If you have a keen eye, you’ll know what I mean, hehe!

[CLUE] It has something to do with my all-time favorite character!

Ok… Still working on illustrations. Planning some comic strips, commissions and other works. Gotta finish them before December comes.

Ayabi Montreal (traditional style) [FULL VIEW]

It’s been years since I’ve started learning to color using PS 7 or Painter but I always got”lazy” everytime I start to practice it. “Lazy” is my term for not having a guts to do and finish something.

But something have happened! I can’t believe it… I finally solved my problem about digital coloring! Things are getting more interesting!
